Molly + Jim – Woodsy Nottingham NH Engagement Session

The first word that comes to mind when we look at Molly + JIm’s woodsy Nottingham NH engagement session is: Dreamy. There was just something so sweet, carefree, and flowy {is that even a word?} about their engagement session. It was a perfectly warm sunny Summer day and the glow created this lovely soft sun-kissed haze. Combine that with the beautifully natural surroundings and a totally adorable couple and the rest is just magic. Molly + Jim are as sweet as can be and we knew that they were going to totally rock their engagement session from the first time we met them! They’re fun, playful, and they’re so in love! Not to mention, they have some pretty killer style – we couldn’t stop feeling like this session was so “Dirty Dancing” inspired! We explored the beautiful wooded areas, climbed rocks, and danced on bridges. It was seriously awesome. We LOVED working with these two lovebirds and we cannot wait for their big day in 2015! We just know it’s going to be amazing!

Go ahead and check out their totally fabulous session below and leave the happy couple some love in the comments!

Molly + Jim Q&A

How did you meet?

Molly: Jim and I first met at a club in the city at my friend’s now husband’s 25th birthday party, who also happens to be Jim’s best friend. I remember him as the guy wearing a sweater vest in the club.  We didn’t talk much at the party, but when Jim and his friends came back with us to my girlfriend’s apartment we hit it off during a heated game of catchphrase.  A month or two later we went out again with the same group of friends, and this time Jim took the plunge and offered to buy me a drink at the bar, but once again it was the late night game of catchphrase and Domino’s that sealed the deal for Jim and I. We went on our first date the following week and have been together ever since!

Jim: Molly and I first met at my friend’s 25th Birthday party at a club in Boston. Molly had just come from her job working as a waitress in the North End and we only had a brief exchange that night. But it was her red sunglasses and personality to match the next morning at brunch with our friends that left a lasting impression on me. A few weeks later we all got together again for a night out in Boston. I won Molly over during a competitive game of Catch Phrase (I also won the game of Catch Phrase). Following that night Molly and I went on our first date at Prezza in the North End (we still go for our anniversary each year) and now here we are getting married.

What did you first notice about your sweetie?

Molly: The first thing I noticed about Jim was definitely his sweater vest, oddly enough he really wore it well! But mostly what I first noticed about Jim was his sarcastic and competitive personality. I tend to be pretty sarcastic myself so it immediately felt like I had met my match!

Jim: I remember noticing Molly’s outgoing personality and competitive nature that first night as we were playing games back at her friend’s apartment. She kept a smile on my face the whole night and I definitely wanted to see her again.

What do you like to do together?

Molly: Jim and I really just love our alone time together up at our house on the Lake. It’s our happy place, and we love the simple life that we are able to live up there just the two of us. No matter what it is that we are doing we are always laughing and having a good time together and we look forward to every moment we get to spend up there.

Jim: Molly and I love spending time together up north on the lake. Whether we are out riding the jetski, fishing, sitting on the dock or playing cards we are always making each other laugh and truly enjoy one another’s company.

Who’s the most ticklish?

Molly: Definitely me!

Jim: Molly, by far!

Tell us the Proposal Story!

Molly: When Jim and I first moved in together my only request was that he bring me coffee in bed every morning. My aunt once told me that it was the secret to success in her 25 year marriage, and let me tell nothing is better than being woken with a fresh hot cup of coffee made to perfection. To me the day Jim proposed started off as a normal Friday, I was sitting in bed patiently waiting for my coffee so I could start my day. For Jim it was “the first full day of spring” as he kept reminding me. Jim is a true nature lover so to hear him this excited for spring was not out of character, but I do remember hearing the unusual sound of music coming from downstairs. Moments later Jim was handing me my coffee in a mug I did not recognize, which for me takes a while to come to terms with..“what is this coffee mug”, “where did it come from”,”this isn’t my usual mug” so I turned it around to give it a closer look and nearly passed out as I read the words “I LOVE MY WIFE” and then there was Jim on one knee asking me to be his!

Jim: I am a simple guy! I am not over the top and I like to keep things personal and meaningful. That being said I wanted to surprise Molly in a special way. Every morning I bring her coffee in bed (it reverses after we get married and she has to do it for the next umpteen years), and on the morning of our engagement I bought her a coffee mug that said “I love my wife” when I gave it to her I got down on one knee, said some private words, and then placed a ring on her finger…I did it on the first day of Spring as it symbolizes new life, new beginnings and the coming warmth following the winter. I also did it in the morning to try and catch her off guard but also as it shows the start of a new day and the opportunity that each day presents.

What’s your favorite feature/characteristic about your sweetie?

Molly: Jim’s sense of humor, it can be a little inappropriate top at times! But he is always making me and everyone around him laugh.

Jim: NON PHYSICAL my favorite characteristic of Molly is her big heart.

Have you picked a honeymoon destination? If so, where are you going?

Molly: We are going to enjoy the beautiful home we are getting married at for a few days after the wedding! We will postpone the honeymoon for the following winter to escape the cold

Jim: Not yet….we are getting married at private home on Lake Winnipeasaukee so we will be staying there enjoying some peace and quiet and alone time for a few days following the wedding.

How is the wedding planning going?

MollyIt’s going! Sometimes I have to remind myself this is actually happening!

Jim: Good…Molly handles most of it with the Wedding Planner. I just answer lots of questions.

What are you most excited about for the wedding?

Molly: Finally being Mrs. Molly Czarnecki!

Jim: Taking a step back on our wedding night night to remember that moment with family and friends and  looking at Molly and realizing we are officially a team.
